He is deeply invested in building science, continuous improvement, and refining how projects are delivered. Whether through certifications, collaboration with industry peers, or internal systems, JP is always working to raise the standard.
He believes the role of a builder is not just to construct, but to guide. His priority is helping clients make informed decisions and delivering work that holds up over time.
Lucia Suazo
Business Director & Co-Founder
Lucia plays a central role in client experience, business development, and maintaining alignment across projects.
Her background in sales and marketing, combined with her involvement in the day-to-day operations of RedOven Builds, allows her to support both the relationship and strategic side of each project. She works closely with homeowners, designers, and partners to ensure communication is clear and expectations stay aligned from the start.
She’s known for her attention to detail and her ability to keep projects moving in the right direction while making clients feel supported throughout the process.

Operating Manager
JP Sr. brings decades of leadership experience across operations, finance, and business management. His background as a CEO and COO gives him a strong foundation in structure, accountability, and long-term planning.
At RedOven Builds, he supports the operational side of the business, helping ensure projects are backed by clear systems, sound financial oversight, and consistent communication. David also runs Mink Studios ATX, a custom woodworking studio.
He values a collaborative environment where teams are aligned, expectations are clear, and decisions are made with intention.
Janel Davis
Project Manager
Janel manages projects with a focus on coordination, communication, and keeping everything moving with clarity.
Her background spans both operations and construction, giving her a strong understanding of how projects come together from planning through execution. She works closely with homeowners, architects, and trade partners to align details, maintain momentum, and ensure nothing gets overlooked.
She values the collaborative nature of the process and believes the best outcomes come from strong communication between everyone involved.
Jacob Morin
Site Superintendent
Jacob brings a craftsmanship-first mindset to every project, shaped by early experience working alongside skilled Japanese carpenters and later running his own woodworking business.
His background gives him a deep understanding of how details come together, from structure to finish. On site, he focuses on precision, clear communication with trades, and making sure each element is executed the way it was intended.
He takes pride in delivering work that reflects a high standard of care and consistency, ensuring the final result holds up over time.
David Lacayo
Mink Studios ATX | Partner
David leads Mink Studios ATX, a cabinet shop focused on detailed millwork, shop drawings, and fabrication. His work supports the translation of design into precise, buildable solutions, particularly when projects require a high level of coordination around cabinetry and interior detailing.
With a strong understanding of how design comes together in the field, he plays a key role in ensuring that what’s drawn can be executed cleanly and accurately. His work helps bridge the gap between design intent and construction at the detail level.
We collaborate with David and the Mink Studios team when projects benefit from additional coordination around millwork, cabinetry, and interior details early in the process.
