About Us 

RedOven Builds is an Austin-based custom home builder specializing in custom homes, major remodels, and additions. We partner with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade partners to bring highly detailed residential projects to life with care, transparency, strong communication, and excellent craftsmanship.

We are looking for a Project Manager to help lead residential construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is highly collaborative and client-facing, working closely with RedOven leadership, site superintendents, trade partners, vendors, designers, architects, and homeowners to keep projects organized, moving smoothly, and aligned with RedOven’s standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable moving between job sites, client meetings, Buildertrend, budgets, schedules, and field coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects through preconstruction, construction, and closeout.

• Help maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, change orders, RFIs, selections, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with site superintendents, trade partners, vendors, suppliers, designers, architects, and clients.

• Keep project information accurate and updated in Buildertrend and internal systems.

• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, including project updates, schedule impacts, budget items, and decisions needed.

• Perform regular site walks to review progress, quality, safety, cleanliness, and alignment with current drawings and specifications.

• Assist with procurement, permits, inspections, punch lists, warranty documentation, and project closeout.

• Help identify project risks early and work with the team to resolve issues before they become larger problems.

• Support RedOven’s internal systems, SOPs, checklists, and process improvements as the company continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in residential construction project management, custom homes, remodeling, or a related construction role.

• Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and jobsite coordination.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, people, and details at once.

• Comfort working with clients, architects, designers, vendors, trade partners, and internal team members.

• Strong organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read plans and understand residential construction sequencing.

• Buildertrend experience is a plus.

• A commitment to safety, quality, client service, and team accountability.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in Austin, Texas. The Project Manager will spend time between job sites, the office, meetings, and administrative work. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required depending on project needs, inspections, client meetings, trade schedules, and jobsite priorities.
